5RISE Bingley

Since its official re-opening in December 2009, 5Rise is once again the main retail focus of Bingley, a thriving market town in West Yorkshire.

Of great importance to the local community, the redevelopment of 5Rise marks the much needed regeneration of retail facilities in the town that has been long overdue. Formerly known as Myrtle Shopping Centre and following a number of failed promises from previous owners, 4Urban purchased the site in 2007. Redevelopment began in September 2008 and as promised, on time and on budget the scheme was physically completed in October 2009, despite the current economic climate.

Now a major £5 million regeneration project, 5Rise offers 59,500 sq ft of new and refurbished retail space across 18 individual shop units. The anchor tenant is a brand new 12,000 sq ft Co-operative food store, which is joined by Home Bargains, Santander and Browns Café, as well as existing retailers such as Boots, Natwest, Greggs, Timpsons, Klick, and Betfred.
